History
Establishment
1015 Squadron was founded on the 29th of August 2021, with the establishment of the Air Training Corps. This was to allow for the development of skills and training of regular and reservist airmen and officers in the RWAF.
Role
The role of 1015 Squadron is for the training of regular and reservist airmen and officers in the RWAF.
Members of the Squadron may also be deployed to train Officers in Initial Officer Training (IOT) or to train Airmen in their basic training. Other members may specialise and instruct on Phase 2 Training.
Leadership
The squadron is lead by a Commissioned Officer, typically ranking at Flight Lieutenant or Squadron Leader, and a Squadron Warrant Officer who ranks at Warrant Officer. Other NCOs and Officers may hold leadership positions such as flight commanders.
