The 1st Infrantry Division is a division under the Army of Pacem responsible for the defense of the monarch and over the cities and territories of Pacem, and also as an expeditionary force to claim new territories around Maryland.
History
The division was established by Emperor Nicholas by Decree III on 9 June 2020, which also appointed him as the Commander of the division. Through Decree VII, Connor Stumperth was appointed NCO of the division with the rank of Staff Sergeant on 13 June 2020. Following the 2020 Constitution, the Armed Forces were reorganized, and Stumperth was appointed commanding officer of the division as Major General through Decree XIX.
Equipment
Unlike many micronational military units, the 1st Infantry Division uses real weapons as a part of their standard armament. The standard main arms for all soldiers under this division is the Winchester Model 1897 pump-action shotgun, as well as a pocketknife.
