2013 MFA World Cup/Dale Host Bid

The Dale Republic was a bidding nation for the 2013 MFA World Cup, the first ever MFA World Cup in micronational history. The submittion of the bid was approved by DFA chairman, James Hunt and the bid it self was submitted to the president of the MFA by caretaker president of the Dale Republic, Danny Clarke.
The Dale World Cup bid was the only bid where all of the matches could, and were, planned to be played within the borders of the Dale Republic. This was considered a significant difference between the Dale and Senyan bids for the games. The only confirmed stadium is the Churchill Stadium which is the Dale National Team stadium. However, on March 5, 2012, the Dale bid lost a vote on hosting the tournament to the Senyan bid, and as a result failed to gain hosting rights.
