The 2020 or 2021 Austin Island referendum will be held on an unspecified date. The referendum is whether voters want to keep the current two round system for gubernatorial election and or have a blanket primary in which the top candidates by party placing advance to a supplementary vote election. The referendum will happen on December 18, 2020 and polls will close at 8pm.
