The 2022 Gaplan general election was an election in the Federated States of Gapla that took place from August 3, 2022 until August 27, 2022. The election, after Gapla's governmental reform, will choose the President of the Federated States of Gapla for one year and the National Assembly for six months.

Starting on June 25, 2022, preparations for the election began as parties submitted coalitions, alliances, and proposals to run. On July 3, 2022, the national party conventions were opened. From July 15, 2022 until July 22, 2022, there was be a period of debate, campaigning, and advertising. The last day to turn in the election tickets was on July 25, 2022, and priority voting began on July 28, 2022. General voting opened on August 3, 2022, and was the last stage of the election.

Results were announced on Gapla's YouTube channel on August 30, 2022, Gapla Standard Time as a premiere starting at 5:00 PM on Gapla's official YouTube channel. All government officials should know the results by the afternoon of August 27, 2022, affirming an oath that they will not share the results before the official announcement. However, in the previous election, the 2022 Gaplan presidential election, the results were leaked early by government officials, and there was popular speculation that this would happen again. This did not happen, and most people found out the results after the premiere.

The new President, Speaker, and National Assembly took on September 1, 2022, with the Leader of the Opposition being elected before. The Leader of the Opposition took office on September 3, 2022.

The legislature of the Federated States of Gapla is proportionally distributed, through open party lists. The most senior member of the party list, except the Presidential nominee, is to be selected as the Speaker.
