Austin Island Standard Time

Austin island uses the time zone of UTC-5:00 year round. Originally, the time zone was known as Eastern Time, but changed it because most of the Eastern time zone uses daylight saving time. Due of this, solar noon can happen as early as at 10:39 and as late as 11:12. Some cities on Austin Island utilise minor variations to AIST. a referendum to change austin island standard time to utc-4 will be in 2021 beacuse of the gubernatorial election. a poll by the austin island post states that 80% of people donot want a referendum. a questioned proposition will take place on november,29th
