Achtflüsse is an uninhabited territory of the Republic of Phillip situated on the Braden and Manatee Rivers that flow through the US State of Florida. The territory’s de facto capital and only settlement is Fuchslag. It is the southernmost of Phillip’s territorial claims and is the furthest from the nation’s capital, Port Phillip. It is also the second largest subdivision in the nation, barely being smaller than the Csonka Territory by a single square kilometer.

The territory spans slightly more than 18 square kilometers and consists of more than eighty estuary islands. The islands are unpopulated and are mainly made up of mangroves.

Since its annexation on 7 March 2023, the territory has not been visited by a representative of Phillip. This has led the government of Phillip to classify the territory as “disputed” with the United States of America. As of March 2023, the Military of Phillip is in the process of preparing an invasion of the territory.

Etymology

The name "Achtflüsse" comes from the combination of the two German words "Acht" and "Flüsse". When put together, they directly translate to "eight rivers", signifying the fact the territory is located on multiple rivers and is divided between eight enclaves. The territory is located on the Braden and Manatee Rivers.

Government

Achtflüsse is governed by the Governor of the Territories, a mainly ceremonial office appointed by the President who has jurisdiction over all of the territories. Their role as governor is mostly useless, as the only role of governors in Phillip is the ability to impose taxes upon the residents of their subdivision. Because Achtflüsse is uninhabited, the governor has no real power.

The current Governor of the Territories is Cooper Norfolk (I) of the Origen District.
