An Admiral of the Fleet is the most senior commissioned officer of the Royal Queensland Armed Forces, more specifically, the Royal Queensland Navy. It outranks an admiral of the navy, and a general of the army. Its equivalent is an Field Marshal of Royal Queensland Army, and a marshal of Royal Queensland Air Force.
A Admiral of the Fleet insignia consists of two crossed batons surrounded by Silver color in which the military baton It has a crown and leaves around it and is placed over a silver military baton below St Edward's Crown. Like Marshals of the RQAF and Admirals of the Fleet, Field Marshals traditionally remain officers for life, though on half-pay when not in an appointment.
