Ahmed, Prince of Rwales (Shamil El Sheik Mountbatten Mirza Ahmed; born 23 October 1999) is the heir apparent of King Hafeez II of Sonarland. Since 2013 his major title has been His Royal Highness the Prince of Rwales. Ahmed is the last child of King Hafeez II, and his wife Queen Maksuda. His father is the last son of King Consort Hafeez and Queen Begum.

As the son of a son of the sovereign, Ahmed would not ordinarily be entitled to the titles of a Soanrladis prince or princess, or the style Royal Highness. Instead, he would have taken his father's secondary title, Earl of Somer, as a courtesy title. However, on 25 October 2001, Begum II issued letters patent granting a royal and princely status to any children of Prince Hafeez and the Duchess of Edanbara, making Ahmed a royal prince from birth.

When Ahmed was aged nine his Father's accession as King Hafeez II made him her heir apparent. As the sovereign's last son, he automatically took the titles Earl of Ehester, Earl of Hatrrick, Baron of Ropaw, Lord of the Issa. In addition to being a prince of the Sonarland. Ahmed attended his Father's coronation at Royal Mosque on 9 June 2009, seated alongside his mother and aunt.

Created Prince of Rwales

Ahmed was created Prince of Rwales and Earl of Ehester on 2 May 2013, when he was crowned by his father in a ceremony held at Edanbara Palace, and gave his replies and speech in both Bangla and English. The following year, he took his seat in the House of Piars, and later in the decade became the first member of the Royal Family since King Hafeez I to attend a SonarCabinet meeting, having been invited by Acting Prime Ministe Rifat so that the Prince might see the workings of the Soanrlandis government and Cabinet first hand.

Royal Duties and Millstones

As prince of Sonarland, Ahmed attended his Father's coronation at Royal Mosque on 9 June 2009, seated alongside his mother and aunt.
