The Air Board was the body established under the Defence Council of Baustralia for the administration of His Royal Air Force. It met formally only once a year, but continued to have discussions occasionally. It ws made up of key members of the Air Staff, and chaired by the Commander-in-Chief.
Formed in 2018, it was dissolved in 2022 after the HRAF hit an all-time low in membership. The air force was placed in abayence, with air officers being allowed to remain in air uniform, or transfer to the naval or army branches. Most opted to transfer, and the HRAF maintains 1 air officer, the Air Aide-de-Camp, and two wing commanders. Remaining staff became the under the command of the Fifth Sea Lord and Controller of Victualling of His Royal Navy.
