The Siroccan telephone numbering plan describes the allocation of telephone numbers in Sirocco.
Numbering plan
Siroccan telephones must dial five numbers in order to place a call: a two-digit area code and a three-digit phone number (e.g. 16 154). These codes must be used even when the recipient is within the same area code (a call placed in Wellesley for another number in Wellesley must dial 40).
Overseas telephones must dial eight numbers in order to place a call: a three-digit country code, a two-digit area code and a three-digit phone number (e.g. +645 16 154).
Each region is a assigned a regional code from which local area codes are derived. These are:
- 1x for the Greater North region (Castor, Falkirk, Gillies Island and Mill Bay)
- 2x for Alston-Jellicoe (Bolton, Cambria, Jellicoe, the Muldoon Protectorate and Trafalgar)
- 3x for the Central Eastern region (Halvorson)
- 4x for Waitakere (Blacksands, Wellesley)
- 5x for Hobson-Watchman (Hobson, Watchman Island)
- 6x for Lindström (Greater Hagley, Maxia, Sandford, Stirling, Trinity)
- 8x for Zona (Chai, Konson, Zageta)
- 9x for Weymouth
