Ashukov nationalism is a term applied to the form of nationalism promoted by the National Party of Ashukovo and the Conservative Party. It is commonly defined as a right-wing, micronational political movement that seeks to promote the development of a strong and independent Ashukov state in the form of the Ashukov Federation; a sovereign democratic semi-presidential constitutional republic. It is distinct from other micronational nationalist movements in that it has a number of unique defining characteristics not found in most other nationalist ideologies in the micronational community.

Characteristics

In general, Ashukov nationalism is usually characterised by the following ideas:

  • Support for the idea of an independent, sovereign Ashukov state as a recognised macronation;
  • Support for the idea of the Ashukov Federation as one of the "superpowers" of the MicroWiki Community;
  • Belief in the existence of a distinct racial and cultural identity for the Ashukov people;
  • Staunch support for Republicanism;
  • Belief that the Orthodox Church of Ashukovo should be safeguarded by the State as an important part of Ashukov culture and national identity;
  • Vehement opposition to multi-culturalism;
  • Belief in cutting down on the number of dual-citizens;
  • Support for the abolition of Special cultural Status; and
  • Belief that the Greek-Slavic culture found in Mouzilo is a branch of Ashukov culture, and should be recognized as such.

In the Conservative Party

The Conservative Party defines Ashukov nationalism differently than its political rivals.

As of 2020, the definition of Ashukov nationalism for the Conservative Party is composed of several right-wing ideologies, with the most notable being that of social conservatism. The party believes in the values of national conservatism and traditionalism, such as the need to preserve the national identity of Ashukovo, its values, Orthodox Christianity as the official religion of the state, and the belief that Ashukovo is indeed a micronational power. The Conservatives also believe in civic nationalism, in the sense that people of various ethnic backgrounds can adopt Ashukov values and ethics and uphold their Ashukov national identity. The party considers the Ashukov state to be inherently civic nationalist, with people of Hellenic, Slavic and American ancestry, to name a few.

The Conservative Party is a strong advocate of Independentism, believing that in order for Ashukovo to thrive it must remain independent. This was particularly important in mid-2017 when rumors emerged over the intention of Jacob Huff's Presidency and the National Party's administration for Ashukovo to join the Holy Roman Empire.

The party also believes that Christianity does and should play a role in Ashukov politics as well as day to day life. Also, out of the current and former Ashukov parties, the Conservatives have been the most staunch supporters for the usage of the Ashukov language, believing it to be an integral part of Ashukov identity.
