Results of the election

The August 2020 Cubian general election was held from Friday 7 - Sunday 9 August 2020. It elected the 3rd Cube Council. It took place with local elections simultaneously. They were the first since the Timonocite Empire laid claim to their territory.

The election ended in a victory for the Anti-Anime Party of Cubia, which retained its plurality, but lost a majority. it was, however, the worst result in the party's 7-month history, with them losing 20 points and one of their 8 seats, and with the Curry-Excellent CPR coalition winning a combined 8 seats, putting their status as the ruling party at risk. Initial results put the CURRY-AEP list at a majority, initially giving the AAP a catastrophic defeat, forcing Ae to resign, with no list seats to prop up the party, but a correction by Elections Cubia put the 2 coalitions at a tie, with no alliance creating a coalition with Alternative for Cubia.
