Augusto Izard Marth (born 28 April 1998) is a nisean, conservative, moralist, monarquist and clericalist micropolitician who serves as the Prime Minister and Head of Government of the Autonomous Community of Nisea since its establishment in June 2022. He previously served as President of the Eldership of the Honorable Republic of New Constantinople (Oct. 2021).

Augusto attended the International College for Experienced Learning, and studied Computer Science, although his passion for politics were driven by reading novels at his free time across classes, being this influence, surrounded by the major politic changes in the macronation of the Mexican United States that led to the proclamation of Independence of the Autonomous Community of Nisea (Republic of Nisea at that time).

Personal life

Early life

Born in Villahermosa TB, Mexico on April 28, 1998, Augusto is the second son of Augusto Izard Sr. and Margareth Marth. In 2001, the Izard family decided to move to Mexico City to establish a more urban life, centered in governmental work, as Augusto grew.

Since his first years, Augusto showed interest in local politics, forms of government and the use of diplomacy, debate and dialogue to promote exchange of ideas, common interests and discussion for overall development.

Education

He attended Alfonso Gutierrez Elementary School from 2004 to 2010, grading A+ in the overall six years of formation, and showing interest in mathematics and geography. Augusto then went to "Laws of Reform" Middle School from 2010 to 2013, where he grew a more in-depth interest in public administration and political theories, alongside math and engineering.

After one accident on which Augusto suffered an injury on his right arm, he then started attending Mexican High School of Technology from 2013 to 2015 where he specialized in mathematics, minoring in computer science. It also is on this stage of his life that he became a Reformed Catholic / Presbyterian, in December 2015, developing studies in both philosophy and theology, and advocating the necessity of morality and religion in the political field.

When went to College, he decided to switch from a constant growing interest in mathematics to political science. But, due to a personal request from his father, he studied an Associate's in Computer Science, scoring A+ on his final degree. Since that moment, Augusto considers himself an "ever-growing learner", claiming new abilities and knowledge through self-teaching and experience.

Currently, Augusto Izard is studying various diplomas in Theology and Political Science. According to his claims, these are both through institutions and by self-teaching, reading books as the source of interest and knowledge.

Religion

Mr. Izard considers himself a "reformed catholic", but in practice he sympathizes with the Conservative Presbyterian Church, a right-wing and traditionalist branch of the Church of Scotland. His beliefs have developed in him a constant pursuit of moral, traditional and conservative politics throughout the micronational community, arguing that morals should be the real foundation of micronationalism, instead of simply secessionism.

Micronational career

Early interest in Micronationalism and New Constantinople

Augusto Izard developed an interest in micronationalism after trying to run for mayor of the county he lived in back in 2018 (age 20) for the conservative local party. After being rejected, he publicly stated that fraud was enacted on the process of election for candidates and, after the party he supported lost the election, he also claimed electoral fraud. This led to major interest in protest against corruption in the political system in the entire Mexican territory.

In early 2021, after getting a job in a macronational political party, Augusto found about the micronational community through the reading of multiple forums on internet and various media about micronations, which led to a proposal alongside Emmet Horton of creating a micronation, which they planned and eventually called "The Honorable Republic of New Constantinople", establishing it on September 9 with Augusto as the President of the Eldership and Emmet as Vice-president of the Eldership and Elder of Culture and Art.

After the letter of discouragement led by Emmet, New Constantinople was declared defunct on October 17, 2021. To this end, Augusto decided to put a pause in his political career to focus mainly on religion studies.

Solo planning and the establishment of Nisea

By January 2022, Mr. Izard decided that his micronational career didn't finish yet and, in private started to study micropatriology, specializing in simulationism among the community. This led to the decision of embracing the concept of creating a micronation that could recognize itself as a simulated state without compromising the profesisonalism, ideas for political debate and potential seccession it might have. In this manner, Mr. Augusto created the concept of "moderate simulationism".

Throughout the following months, Mr. Augusto decided to plan a manifesto of a country that could have all the values he considered vital for the micronational community, up until the publishment of the Constitution and Manifesto of the Honourable Hispanic Reformed Republic of Nisea (nowadays Autonomous Community of Nisea). Since then, he has served as TME Prime Minister of Nisea and occupying the office of Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Prime Minister (2022-2028)

Preparatory term (2022-2023)

As President, Augusto Izard promoted the diplomatic/non-conflicting policy in Nisea. The first movement he made in the political realm was to clarify Nisea's position on foreign affairs by stating that the nowadays Community won't get involved with any other nation, whether it is a micronation or a macronation that is currently involved in war or even supporting a country that is in war. This has led to some criticism when it comes to aid for nations that are invaded and, in response he added "any nation that is willing to sacrifice a human life to exterminate another human life doesn't deserve anyone's respect, that's a war crime".

Political positions and ideologies

Political and economical positions

Ideologically, Augusto is described as a "mainline conservative", although he himself claims to be a "morally conservative, economically distributist and politically moarchist", arguing that the three of them can coexist, considering that none of them are openly against each other. His speeches don't usually tend to denote populism, which strengthens his own claims.

Foreign Affairs and War

Augusto has exceptionally claimed his "pacifist" agenda, marking that he would never sent a human being to die for a flag "without burning [himself] out trying to find a better, cohesive, non-violent, diplomatic path to follow". He has also been described as someone who doesn't want to get involved in any sort of drama or conflict with anyone up to the point of stating that he would voluntarily step out of the community before bringing violence or conflict to it.
