The 3 Autonomous Republics.

The Autonomous Republics of Azerbaicanin (Oghazi Azerbaijani: Фгеһтһғһгы Кузгидшсы һа Фәукифшсфтшт) are autonomous divisions of the Republic of Azerbaicanin which are also its claims.

History

Azerbaicanin had AZASSRs (Azerbaicanin Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republics) instead of today's autonomous republic. It had the same system as the Soviet Union's ASSRs & SSRs mixed. The AZSSR had most of the Absheron Peninsula and formed AZASSRs in 1968. There were 4 AZASSRs, the Qasaba AZASSR, the Mainland Azerbaicanin, the Iranian AZASSR in Tabriz, Shirvan AZASSR & the Division of Ariya AZASSR. In 1979, the AZSSR collapsed and is replaced by Republic of Azerbaicanin. It continued the AZASSRs until 1991. After 1991, the country used Autonomous Republics and now there are two more, the Artsakh Autonomous Republic & the Autonomous Republic of Antarctica. The two make Azerbaicanin the largest micronation in the world beating the Federal Republic of New Potato Land in 2022.
