The Badish Dirham is the Official currency of the Junkdom of Badis.
Etymology
Dirham comes from the Greek word "drakhmē", denoting an Attic weight and coin.
History
The Badish Dirham is based on the Moroccan Dirham, the official currency in Morocco. During early self rule discussions, the proposed currency was the Badish Peso, after the former Spanish currency. However this idea was rejected due to the Marquetten government's anti—Spanish stance. though some multiples of 8Đ are still colloquially known as a "peso" in reference to this proposal.
Fels sign
the fels sign () is made up of the arabic letter ف with a vertical stroke through it.
