Badra Shidqi was an Indokistani politician serving as the second vice president on September until its abolition in October 2010. Previously, he served the country on various government ministries, and later on mayoral office.
Recognized as one of the most important early Indokistani politicians, his deep understanding of military affairs and Islam was very helpful for newly-formed Indokistani government. He was konwn as a patriot and war hero, especially after his extensive involvement to defend the country during Indokistan-Ntolian War in April 2011, which granted him fame and support from Indokistani public.
Badra decided to left Travenoras in 2012, while also declaring his intention to be vacuum on Indokistani politics. In 2013, Badra was relieved from his entire micronational activities, despite had no intention to retire from micronationalism.
Micronational career
Badra was the first person to register as Indokistani citizen after the country was founded in September 2010. Because of this, and his friendship with Indokistani founders, he was sometimes considered as Indokistani fourth most important man. In November 2011, during the formation of the first cabinet, Badra was appointed simultaneously as minister of law and human rights, minister of defence, and minister of religious affairs, thanks to his deep understanding on military and Islam.
As minister of defence, Badra was the key figure beside prime minister Nabil Ihsan to plan the defence of the country during Indokistan-Ntolian War in April 2011. His tactics successfully defeat Ntolian forces during Battle of Jumstraad on 8 April.
Badra decided to run as presidential candidate on 2011 election, and successfully became a runner-up, automatically ascended as the vice president in September 2011. After the disbandment of vice president position, Badra was appointed to become the mayor for the capital city of Jumstraad. Despite of his role was regional, he still had influence inside the central government, and advising the authority on defence and religious affairs.
After being inactive for years, he was finally relieved from all of his governmental positions in 2013, despite without declaring any intention to retire from micronationalism. He was a respected figure in Indokistan, with people admiring him as a strong militaryman and a war hero.
