The Battle of Settlers was the first major engagement in Juniperian history. It took place on April 4, 2022 near Settlers Park. The Battle is not very well recorded, other than legends and a few Westavian steles that detail the event.

Prelude

The earlier hour, Shahan II had gone on a large hiking trip with his friends, he had brought a single airsoft pistol and a homemade pen cannon, hoping the test them at the site. As he stopped, he and his friends met "Daniel I" who had recently proclaimed his Empire, he made several threats to both Mogunesia and Westavia, in defense, the Count of Gardenia, Lukas Almer threw a small rock at him, Daniel I fell back and called for more reinforcement.

Battle Timeline

First 30 Minutes

Shahan and his friends were meeting in the Grand House when they were pelted with small rocks and sand, they took defensive positions and fired back with the pen cannon and airsoft pistol, and other soldiers threw rocks, sand, and pieces of trash at the enemy.

Second Thirty Minutes

By now, the battle had attracted several "mercenaries" from each side, now with these buffers, the Westavian-Mogunesian host numbered around 27 and the Danielid host numbered 36, these mercenaries often fought in their own ways and were thus not counted as official soldiers.

Final minutes

The battle came to close when Shahan commanded a small battalion of 3 men to rush their positions, now distracted by the internal mayhem, the main force ran at their fortification, defeating the Danielid force, Shahan personally captured Daniel and forced him to surrender his crown.

Legacy

Although the authenticity and bias of these records are questionable, the battle would go on to live in fame. and is still used in propaganda to this day.

Daniel I

Daniel I now lives normally, he was offered the title "Viceroy of Daneya" but declined, feeling ashamed of his loss.
