Not to be confused with the House of Representatives, which was (unusually for a legislative body) known as "the Cabinet" before 20 September 2011.

The Cabinet of the Empire of Austenasia is the body of Government Ministers responsible for the executive administration and governance of Austenasia, composed of the Prime Minister and up to seven other individual Government Ministers. Government Ministers are appointed by the Monarch (usually from the House of Representatives) and head Government Ministries, of which there are six. The Secretary-General does not head a Government Ministry but is a Government Minister responsible for administrative duties, comparable to a one-man civil service. The Prime Minister oversees the work of the Cabinet and co-ordinates the work of the Government Ministers; the Deputy Prime Minister is not officially a member of Cabinet but is often de facto treated as such due to their position as the Prime Minister's deputy.

On 4 March 2015, immediately after the the election of Lady Dux Brooklyn Hewitt as Prime Minister, Emperor Jonathan I passed his sixteenth Imperial Edict, pledging to only appoint Cabinet positions at the advice of the Prime Minister. This was in direct response to an election platform of Hewitt, and was later entrenched in the Second Amendment to the Austenasian Constitution of 2011.

The Cabinet is based heavily on the British body of the same name. As such, as a collective it holds great executive power and is comprised of different ministers each holding separate portfolios. The current Cabinet of Austenasia is comprised of:
