Charlie Dormer is a Hilltopper politician and former rebel. He was Head of the Hilltopper Military before becoming a Housite leader in the First Civil War alongside Ryan House against Max I and was the main leader in the 23 January Coup and Second Hilltop Civil War, both against Max. Since his defeat in the Second Civil War, he has become increasingly loyal to Max and has regained his position of Head of the Military.
He later was a leader in the Second Hilltop Civil War, which resulted in the autonomy of Bertia as apart of the United Republic of Bertia, with Dormer as King and the loss of his position of Head of the Military. Soon after this, he attempted to overthrow Max again, declaring himself Emperor of the Schoolgrounds and the dissolution of the United Royal Republic of Englica but was unsuccessful and removed of his role as King of Bertia, with Hilltop control reinstated.
Surprisingly, after his failure in the Second Hilltop Civil War, he has grown increasingly loyal to Max I and has rose to the point of being appointed Head of the Hilltopper Military again on 8 September 2021 and has been appointed to the Peerage of Hilltop as the Duke of Brownsea Island.
He is the younger twin brother of Bishop of Bertia George Dormer by two minutes. He was also a leading member of the small Bertia congregation of the Church of Hilltop and was expected to succeed his brother as Bishop when he dies or resigns until he was expelled for forming the Bertian Nazi Party on 20 January 2022.
Dormer formed the Bertian Nazi Party on 20 January 2022 with Charlie Priest, former Deputy Prime Minister of Stinocolus, as Deputy Leader. Upon the parties formation, there was an uproar and calls for the party being banned. and stood for the party in the 2022 East Bertia by-election on 30 January but lost to the Bertia Freedom Party.
