The Chief Justice of Thulicia is the senior most judge in the Republic of Thulicia as well as the senior most judge in the supreme court.
Role
As the senior most judge, the chief justice has some unique duties including:
- Chairing Presidential Impeachments
- Chairing Constitutional Court Cases
- Setting the Supreme Court's Agenda
- Nominating Justices alongside the Senate
Appointment
The Chief Justice is always a justice in the supreme court before their appointment. Candidates for the position are typically senate nominated but are subject to be approved and formally appointed by the President.
