The Church of Vryland was the officially-established Anglican church of Vryland. The primate had the title of Archbishop, although the monarch was the Supreme Governor. Its jurisdiction covered the territory of Vryland.
The Church of Vryland was one of many churches within the Anglican Communion. Although it was the only officially recognised religious denomination in Vryland, the majority of people in Vryland did not belong to it. The church described itself as "Anglican" and mainly followed the Anglican Communion, although it was not officially in communion with it.
The Church of Vryland was one of two religious institutions to be recognised by the Government of Vryland, the other being the Celtic Catholic Church.
