The coat of arms of Abelden, formally as the Arms of His Imperial and Royal Exalted Majesty the Emperor, displays the armorial of the two original capital cities of the Empire, namely Pleston and Alexton. Pleston's arms takes up the first and fourth quarters whilst Alexton's takes up the second and third quarters of the arms. At the middle, an inescutcheon is present in the design of the national flag.

Originally adopted on 26 August 2014, the coat of arms has seen little modification to its original emblazonment although the official renditions has changed throughout the years. There are currently two versions at use: the greater arms, which is used by the monarchy and on official documents, and the state arms, which is used primarily by the Imperial Government.

History

The first version of the coat of arms used a mantle Gules doubled Ermine crowned with the first Imperial crown and tied up with tasseled strings Or. It was designed by His Imperial Majesty, Stephanus. It was not favored by His Majesty and other citizens. A second version of the arms was adopted at August 2014 with two eagle Or as supporters and the arms bearing the Order of the Imperium Abludum. A new version of the arms was adopted at 29 March 2015.

The official blazon of the coat of arms is as follows:

Quarterly, first and fourth Gules three Lions passant crowned in pale Or armed and langued Gules. Second and third Or, an eagle Sable armed and beaked Or, langued Gules. Crowned and wings charged with a trefoil Or. Overall an escutcheon Azure and Vert, a bend sinister Argent. The whole surrounded by the Order of St. Philip the Apostle and for a Crest, upon the Royal helm the Imperial crown Proper with mantling Gules and Or. For Supporters, an eagle Sable, wings elevated, membered Or. Memores acti, prudentes futuri as a motto below.
