Colonel Zachary Harris

Colonel Zachary “Whiteboy” Harris is a notable officer in the RONH-SDF, Chief Field Officer of the RONH-SDF, and head of the Grand Marines of the Republic of New Hessen. Colonel Harris was introduced to Micronationalism by Theodore Zopf around November of 2022. He joined the Republic of New Hessen as a Major and was given command of the New Hessian Grand Marines. After the successful creation of the New Hessian protectorate The Commune of Phoenix on December 26th, 2022, he was promoted to Colonel and given the office of Overseer of the Commune of Phoenix.

Personal Life

Colonel Harris introduced his then-girlfriend into Micronationalism and she was given the position of Ambassador to the Italian Republic and the most Serene Republic of San Marino. She resigned from her position after they broke up. Colonel Zachary Harris is an Estonianist, although he was raised Episcopal. In his free time he enjoys playing baseball and plays softball for his school. He is also an Atlanta Braves fan and enjoys watching at least one game a year in National’s park.

Beliefs

Colonel Harris is a firm believer in equal rights for all. He believes that it would be better to distribute things equally than let a small group of people control most of the land and money. Colonel Zachary Harris advocates for an economic system that he refers to as a “Potlach”, in this system each person works and gives to the society and in return can take from that society. He also believes in welfare programs and universal healthcare. He is a firm believer in Trans rights and rights for all people of Queer identities or sexualities for that matter. He believes in smaller countries that all unite to form an economic and military alliance.
