History

Origin

Coltsburg was founded on August 5, 2011 by CS. At the time, residency in Cathridge was unavailable, and as such citizens quickly flooded the town, bringing with them new ideas and culture. The town quickly became the most affluent and cultural town in Corennica, and held the residency of every citizen. According to the August 2011 census, there were four registered citizens.

The Coltsburg Raids

On August 10, 2011 citizens were shocked to find that the town had been completely destroyed. Raiders had taken materials from homes and used them to build up there own town nearby. A scouting party was quickly formed, and within an hour a member spotted a structure in the distance. Upon examining the structure, the party determined that they were the same materials from the homes back in Coltsburg. The materials were recollected and brought back to town. The following morning, citizens were greeted with yet another ransacking of the town, this time accompanied by notes. The materials were never located and are presumed to have been dumped in a nearby stream.

Aftermath

Following the destruction, President CS declared the area unsafe and restricted construction in the area until further notice. The citizens migrated across the stream and founded New Coltsburg.

Demographics

A September 2011 census reported a population of two in the town. This represents a fifty-percent drop in population from the previous month's census. The drop in population is largely attributed to the migration of public officials to the capitol.
