History
2019
Columbia's history can be traced back to the establishment of the Commonwealth of Thälmann on 19th February 2019, and the subsequent formation of the Commonwealth of Rowa on 10th October 2019, with Harvey Galloway serving as its inaugural Governor General. Notable national symbols within Rowa included Minerva, the Greek goddess of wisdom, the owl as the national animal, and Pickleball as the national sport. Greek goddess Minerva served as its primary symbol. Minerva, representing wisdom and freedom, played a pivotal role in the cultural identity of the Commonwealth. Rowa's capital city was named Minerva, in honour of the goddess. Rowa was subdivided into two regions, Minerva and South Maria, each of which elected four Members of Parliament to the national legislative body.
2020
The Commonwealth of Rowa, which fell into inactivity, transitioned into the Communal Grand Council established on August 20, 2020. The Communal Grand Council was plagued early on by infighting caused by political and general differences within the membership. Following the turmoil, remaining members formed the Sovereign Military Order of Blakeana on 27 July, 2020 named after the Hong Kong orchid tree. The Order remained relatively isolationist with no significant diplomatic presence or active recruitment. Blakeana would later transition into the Commwealth of Hong Kong.
2021
The Commonwealth of Hong Kong came into official existence on May 22, 2021, characterised by a claim to continuity with the British Governance of Hong Kong, albeit confined solely to the territory of Hong Kong Island. Notably, Hong Kong Island held a unique status as the de facto jurisdiction of the Commonwealth. The Commonwealth's governance structure was the Executive Council, serving as the executive branch responsible for policy formulation and execution. The Governor-General presided over the Executive Council, which included key figures such as the Chief Secretary, Home Secretary, and a team of advisors. Their collective mandate encompassed the enactment of legislation, the handling of foreign affairs, and the development of effective policies tailored to the specific needs of the Commonwealth of Hong Kong. Meanwhile, the Legislative Council, commonly known as "LegCo," assumed the role of the legislative branch. Its primary functions included the proposal, debate, and passage of legislation, all while ensuring governmental accountability. The Chief Secretary held the pivotal position of leading the Legislative Council, maintaining its stability, and overseeing the day-to-day responsibilities of the chamber. This dual framework formed the foundation of the Commonwealth's governance, ushering in a new era in the historical narrative of Hong Kong. Society was divided between Pro-Commonwealth and Pro-Independence camps, with the debate between remaining a British dominion causing internal instability.
2022
With the dissolution of the Commonwealth of Hong Kong the Sovereign Military Order of Saint George was formed on the 23rd March, 2022. Dating back to 2020, being the continuation of the Communal Grand Council established on August 20, 2020 and the Sovereign Military Order of Blakeana. The Communal Grand Council was plagued early on by infighting caused by political and general differences within the membership. It then transitioned to a Sovereign Military Order under a different name than the current one, which was known as Blakeana. The early stages were viewed as unstable with occasional members leaving and rejoining and at times extreme infighting. During this time Saint George maintained an isolationist foreign policy and was largely focused on ceremonial and chivalrous duties. This led the government of Saint George to reform the systems and structure of government which remains the current system of government. During this the government reformed, changing symbolism and the name being named after Saint George. Since reformation Saint George remained mostly isolationist and established itself as a neutral nation, a neutral status present to this day.

Symbols
Elements of North American and the theme of American loyalism played an important part in the early development of Columbia symbolism. Symbols emphasise the country's geography, traditional European and British symbols. The use of the evergreen as a Columbian symbol encompasses both cultural and natural elements that resonate with the continent's history and heritage. The evergreen is depicted on Columbia's current and previous flags. The Arms of Columbia display the various heritages of North America including the English, Irish, Scottish, French, Dutch and Germans.
Other prominent symbols include the national motto, "Libertas in Fide" ("Liberty in Loyalty"), the sport of chess, the deer, the Tudor rose, the first Union Flag and more recently the Columbian Tartan and the chipmunk. Currency in Columbia also is a prominent symbol with the image of the monarch, King Charles II, appearing on bank notes and the obverse of all current Columbian coins.
