The Commander-in-Chief of the Queenslandian Defence Force refers to the supreme command authority of the Queenslandian Armed Forces, a military role vested in the Supreme Head of the Queensland, currently King Albert. Under Queenslandian constitutional law the command and government of the Queenslandian armed forces is vested in the Supreme Head and as such he holds the highest office in the military chain of command. The authority to issue orders and give commands to military personnel is delegated by the Supreme Head to his commanders in the Field, however he does retain the right to issue orders personally.
