The Constitution of Tuceria is the official lawbook of the Kingdom of Tuceria. It exists of 5 articles, wich all cover an subject of law. It was De jura effective since 14 March 2023, but since Tuceria doesnt have full law control over its territory, the Dutch law is decisive. In the law, children are grown up when they are 14.
Sorts of punisment: (how long/many/much)

  1. Prison (1 month-Life sentence), if the life sentence is higher than 25 years, its automatically life sentence.
  2. Fine (€5-€50,000)
  3. Community service (10 hours-300 hours)
  4. House arrest (7 days-2 years), serves as an punishment for things worse than a fine but less worse than a prison sentence.
  5. Therapy, mostly used for children under 14.

The laws are noted like ‘’he stole an apple, so he violated article 1.1.1.1 law 1’’, wich means he gets a maximum punishment of €75. All the punishments were stands ''{number/punishment} to {number/punishment}'' are all determinde by judges. The judges are in the government building in Lonneker. All the fines for having multiple cars only applies to people living in Tuceria. Here are the laws:

Personal rights and Theft

Theft

Stealing

You can not steal. It will get you a lot of problems following this list:

  1. For stealing things worth less than €25, you get a fine of €100.
  2. For stealing things worth €25-€100, you get a fine of €350.
  3. For stealing things worth €100-€300, you can get an maximum fine of €750.
  4. For stealing things worth more than €300, the judge will sentence a maximum of 10 years prison, but in special cases it can be more.

Stealing by children

The laws above count for people older than 14. here the laws for children under 14:

  1. For stealing things worth less than €50, you get a discussion with your parents, with a maximum fine of €75.
  2. For stealing things worth €50-€200, you get a discussion with your parents, with a maximum fine of €250.
  3. For stealing things worth more than €200, a special children-judge will sentence a maximum of €5000 (parents can pay a part).

In some cases the punishment can be an community service.

Personal rights

  1. Everyone in the Kingdom of Tuceria has right to eat and drink. If you cannot and you can prove that you cannot, you will recieve food from the government.
  2. Everyone has right to have a (warm) house. If you dont and you can prove that you dont, you will be received in an house on costs of the government.

Properties

The laws for when something is called someone's ''Property'':

  1. Bigger things, like museum-pieces, must be registered at the government office (in Lonneker).
  2. Smaller things, like vases, are depending on in who's house the vases are found. When you lend something, please make note with the signature of the one you are lending it to, otherwise the object will possibly be indentified as theirs.

Terrain properties

Here the laws for terrain-properties:

  1. A terrain needs to be registered by the government. If it is, its property of the one who's registered for it. If it's an rental house, the tentant must be traceable.
  2. On an House-terrain (green parts of the map on the right), forbidden entry laws can't be made. On an Terrain yard, people can decide that they dont want unauthorized persons on their terrain. Then, if they register properly by the government, they can hang an sign with ''Forbidden entry for unauthorized persons'' (Verboden toegang voor onbevoegden) on the entry of their yard.
  3. If people still come on their property, they can report them, with an punishment from €10 to €1000.

Elections

  1. Once per year, everyone older than 14 can vote for the Government, president and ministers.

Physical crimes

Assault

Nobody may be done damadge to by his/her fellow man. These laws prevent that:

  1. If someone Hits you anywhere on your body, you can report it to the government. Depending on eyewitnesses, the one who hit you can get an punishment from €500 to 20 years prison.
  2. If the person who was beaten had to go to the hospital, the punishment will be increased to €1000 to 25 years of prison.
  3. Fights will make both (or more) fighting persons be punished with €450 to 20 years prison.
Assault by children
  1. If an children under 14 hits someone and that someone had to go to the hospital, he will get an discussion with its parents to 2 months house arrest.

Murder or attempted murder

  1. For proven murder, you get the life sentence.
  2. For suspicion of murder (unproven murder) you get a maximum of 15 years prison. If the murder is proven, you get life sentence.
  3. For attemted murder you get a maximum of 20 years.
Murder by children
  1. If an children under 14 murders someone, he gets Therapy and 2 to 24 months house arrest.

Sexual abuse

  1. If you sexually abuse someone, the punishment is 1 week house arrest-10 years prison.
  2. If you sexually abuse a child, the punishment will increase to 2 weeks house arrest-12 years prison.

Lawyers

  1. Everyone in the Kingdom of Tuceria deserves an lawyer. If you can't pay him/her, the government will pay.

Marriage

  1. In Tuceria, you can't marry. You can plan an ceremony, but it is not recognized by the government, due to further marry costs.

Demonstrations

  1. Everyone in Tuceria has the right to demonstrate against any authority as long its peaceful.
  2. Demonstrtaions need to be registered at least a month before the demonstration.
  3. There is always police present by demonstrations.
  4. If the demonstration is not registered properly, the police can end it.
  5. If the demonstration gets out of hand (with physical violence), the police may use violence to calm down or sent home the demonstraters.

Transport

Cars

Car fines

  1. If you ride too fast, you can get an fine of €100 to €25,000 depending on how much more faster you were driving.
  2. If you park on the street, you can get an fine of €250 to €1500. !Watch out, if you park on an property, article 1.2.1.1 law 3 counts!
  3. If you were in an car crash, and its proven that it is your fault, you will need to pay 10 to 75 procent of the costs (The rest is payed by the car insurance or by the owner).
2 Cars or more
  1. It is forbidden to have more than 2 cars (electric cars count as well), except for people who need to go to work, they can get an exemption from their work instantion.
  2. If you have more than 2 cars, without exemption, you get an punishment from €1000 to €30,000.
Electric cars
  1. If you want an electric car , you can get an subsidy from €250 to €2500, depending on what car you're going to buy.
  2. If you abuse this rule by doing it multiple times, you get an punishment from article 2.1.1.1.1 law 1 (because you have multiple cars), and an extra fine of €500.

Trucks and other big vehicles

  1. There is an special tax for trucks (and other big vehicles), €500 a year.
  2. Article 2.1.1.1.1 law 1 and 2 count for these.
  3. For big truck buisinesses is an extra tax; €10,000 a year.

Bycicles

  1. If you dont have an car, you get an subsidy of €250 a year.
  2. You can get an bike subsidy of €20 to €500 depending on how much the bike costs.

Public transport

Trains

Tuceria doesnt have trains.

Buses

  1. 1 kilometer with an national bus is €1. For people who can't pay it and they can prove it, it's free.
  2. All national buses need to be electric.

Planes

Tuceria doesnt have planes and airports.

Green energy

There are special subsidies for green energy:

Solar panels

  1. Subsidy; €75 to €150 per panel; depending on the price.
  2. Everyone who has them, gets and extra €50 bonus a year.
  3. There is no bonus for livering back to the power grid.

For most energy contracts you pay for what you use, so if you have solar panels that is less than normal.

Windmills

In Tuceria, There are only windmills outside the built-up area's.

  1. If you want an small windmill in your garden, you can register it by the goverment, and get an subsidy of €2000.
  2. More than 2 windmills inside an 100 meter range are forbidden.

Businesses

Polluting businesses

  1. Businesses that are polluting relly much, need to pay an fine of €40,000 per year. By polluting businesses, think of car dealers and coal plants.
  2. Polluting businesses can get an subsidy of €20,000 to become more sustainable.

Durable businesses

  1. Businesses that are sustainable (with solar panels and without using much co2), get an subsidy of €10,000 a year.
