DSD Statistics (DSD) is an intermicronational non-profit private company headquartered in Rajagriha, Vishwamitra. Its primary business is creating and running surveys, indices, awards, electoral opinion polls, standardisations and other developmental projects. Founded as a joint initiative of the three founders, Varuna Sriraya, Ștefan Marius Snagoveanu and David Augustus in March 2021, the company began to grow exponentially ever since its first publicly conducted large-scale survey in May–June 2021 which was accompanied by various small surveys.

History

The initial idea behind the formation of the statistic company was pioneered by two of the initial founders, Varuna Sriraya and Ștefan Marius Snagoveanu in various discussions of theirs and stated their will to form a statistician company following Sriraya's rejection from Statistic-Dime, to stand parallel to the leading companies of the same field. With some weeks of discussion and planning and support from Monmarkian Emperor David Augustus, the company was formally established on 10 March 2021^[1] through the issuing of a joint declaration signed by the three founders. The publicising of the declaration received varied reactions from the staff of other statistical companies including the CEO of Statistic-Dime, which is one of the leading statistical companies in the intermicronational community. The founders of DSD Statistics have always stated that the company was not formed to create rivalry with other companies, but to carry out its individualistic and independent research on various topics and promote friendly competitions.

With the formal establishment of the company, Varuna Sriraya was named its first chairman and managing director, while Ștefan Marius Snagoveanu as the inaugural CEO of the company. The two officials worked together on the company's first survey on the "Titles used by Heads of State" of micronations, which was officially run between 27 May and 10 June 2021 and received an overwhelming 108 responses.

Surveying

The DSD Statistics conducts its surveys through Google Forms. Ever since its establishment, the company has officially carried out two surveys with one of them being an opinion poll. The first ever survey was conducted between 27 May and 10 June 2021 on the "Titles used by Heads of State of Micronations" and the results and report were published on the next day. The survey received an overwhelming 108 responses which is the company's highest recorded responses of all. Subsequently, the company ran an opinion polling for the Grand Unified Micronational election, June 2021. The company has plans for conducting various interesting surveys in the future to come.
