The Dale-Guildford Council is the joint unicameral legislature of the Republic of New Dale and the Guildford Federal City and was founded on November 6, 2013. The Dale-Guildford Council is an elected body which consists of the Governor of Guildford Federal City and the Delsh First Minister. The First Minister is elected in Federal Elections for the Republic of New Dale using the First-past-the-post voting system and the Governor of Guildford Federal City is elected as the President of the Federation but represents the Guildford Federal City in the Federal Parliament.
1st Dale-Guildford Council
The 1st Dale-Guildford Council began with its creation on November 6, 2013 with the Federal Party of New Dale, Westland and Caladonia holding both seats in the legislature, and was created to run the republic and federal city with the intention to be expanded or replaced to accommodate a larger legislature, most likely called the New Dale Assembly, taking its name from the Dale Assembly, the first name for the legislature of the Dale Republic, later named the Dale Montering which it kept for most of its history. The only bill past by the 1st Dale-Guildford Council was the Territorial Realignment Act 2013 which expanded the territory of New Dale to include the whole of Surrey, excluding the Guildford Federal City.
2nd Dale-Guildford Council
The 2nd Dale-Guildford Council began with the Dale-Westland Federal Elections, January 2014 which saw the election of the first Green Party member, , holding the seat of Governor of Guildford, replacing Danny Clarke.
