The Dale Space Agency (DSA) is an executive agency of the Government of the Republic of New Dale. It was established on November 22, 2013 to replace the Dale Sub-Federal Space Agency to jointly created the Federal Air and Space Agency along with the Caladonian Institute for Aeronautics and Space Development. Its headquarters are located in Woking City with its unofficial launch site being located at the disused Wisley Airfield, nicknamed the Wisley Space Centre for the purposes of the Dale Space Agency.

The agency was originally created for virtual space flight but intends to redirect its focus to model rocketry and other aerial tests to provide altitude video footage, this could be done in cooperation with Caladonian Institute for Aeronautics and Space Development or done independently.

History

Dale Virtual Space Agency

The Dale Virtual Space Agency, which succeeded the His Majesty's Virtual Space Agency following the political transition from the Kingdom of the Dale Empire to the Dale Republic was devoted solely to virtual space flight and simulators which rocket science being a higher priority to other sciences and observations which could have been achieved only through real world testing of rockets and other methods. The Dale Virtual Space Agency ended operations unofficially with the decommissioning of its virtual space station the Dale Space Station, its last launch on 16 August 2011. The agency was later ended officially on 1 February 2012, 190 days after the agency was formed.

Dale Sub-Federal Space Agency

The Dale Sub-Federal Space Agency unofficially succeeded the Dale Virtual Space Agency on the 14th July, 2013 following the creation of the Delsh-Westlandian Federal Republic 3 days prior. Again the Dale Sub-Federal Space Agency was devoted to virtual space flight for the purpose of rocket science instead of scientific research. The Dale Sub-Federal Space Agency failed to officially undertake a single mission during its time between 14 July 2013 and 22 November 2013.

Dale Space Agency

The Dale Space Agency was created on 22 November 2013 as part of an agreement with the then Caladonian National Space Agency to create a joint federal space agency which would operate in a open system allow each organisation to work independently from each other and achieving their own goals.
