Daniel I is a Danian British politician who has been the leader of Daniel-Land since August 9, 2011. He was born in the UK, but now lives in Danland.
Biography
Micronational Life
The king first knew about micronations when he looked up information on the Grand Duchy of Avram on Wikipedia. He took a lot of interest on the hobby and started his own micronation, the Kingdom of Daniel-Land, as it was then known, on August 9, 2011. It went inactive on September 7, 2011 following personal problems, but it returned various times.
On December 26, 2011, the Kingdom of Daniel-Land became the Independent State of Daniel's Room (IDSR), which would become the State of Dianberg on 27 January 2012 and Danland on March 4, 2012.
On May 30, 2012 the king of Danland was looking information on the United Provinces of Utopia, which was it's ally at the time and took interest on a merger with Utopia, however this was not approved by Emperor Karl of Utopia, because if this did happened, the Emperor would thought that he would abdicate in favour of the king of Danland being the new ruler. However, Daniel I of Danland denied that Karl would abdicate in favour of Daniel, except for the proposed "Daniel-Land - Utopia" name. He also said that he would want to become Utopia's first prime minister and establish the Utopian Dan Party.
After months of joining other micronations, Daniel decided that he wanted Danland to be part of the fictional nation of Daniel-Land, which itself would be transformed into a stronger powerful micronation. This happened on 3 October 2012 and continued until the dissolution of the micronation in May 2013.
Daniel returned to micronationalism on 16 December 2016.
Personal life
The king has also invented 172 fictional nations with the flagship fictional nation being Daniel-Land. All of these countries are in a planet called Elsin.
Political views
Daniel is more liberal in politics, but according to his political compass, he is more centre-right. He sometimes favours Thatcherism on one hand. He supports the British Liberal Democrats and the smaller British Libertarian Party, the Siroccan Libertarian Party and the US Democratic Party, along with the American Libertarian Party.
