Defence Force of Tinakula
The Defence Force of Tinakula is the military force responsible for the defence of the Republic of Tinakula. The Defence Force also promotes Tinakula's wider interests and may provide intermicronational aid.

History
Foundation
The Defence Force was founded by Aānaāk Desslok and Luke of Wellmoore while setting up the Republic of Tinakula after the fall of the Tinakula International Zone.
Recruitment
The Defence Force of Tinakula recruits directly from the Tinakulan population. To be allowed to Commission as an Officer full citizenship is required, to Enlist only permanent residency is required.
A citizen may enlist into the Defence Force at age 16 with parental consent. A citizen may enlist or commission at age 18 without parental consent.
Structure
Command Organisation
The Presidency of Tinakula holds the role of Co-Commander-in-Chief and may exercise their powers to run the Armed Forces. However the Minister of Defence and Commander of the Defence Force hold the main executive and decision making power over the Defence Force.
Personnel
Personnel may enlist or commission into the regular or reserve components of the Defence Force.
Ministry of Defence
The Ministry of Defence play a major role in the running of the Defence Force. The MOD are responsible for the military spending and budget and may change aspects of the Defence Force.
