The position entitles the title-holder to a place in the cabinet.

The position is bestowed upon an individual by the president and serves for as long as the position is not revoked from the individual.

Title-holders however, do have duties. It is their duty to advice the president on important decisions.

During the president's absence, title-holders may choose to deputise the president and execute's his duties/ powers. However, they can only execute minimal presidential duties/ powers. This is with the exception that the president has mandated and has given the title-holder (s) permission to execute his duties/ powers or to represent him either domestically or abroad. Only in such cases are assistant president (s) allowed to bypass the rule in which they cannot fully be acting president (s).
