History

Colonial Era

Colorado was rarely a place of claims for Micronations, and as such was a prime location for the Matachewanian-Prussian Commonwealth as the last King of the Commonwealth, King Kleinmann, now Kaiser of the Deutsches Colorado Kaiserreich, lived there, making it one of the biggest and most prominent colonies making it easy to administer.

Founding of the Nation

On 25 July 2019, at exactly 9:00 PM MDT SKM Kaiser Kleinmann I declared the Deutsches Colorado Kaiserreich, as the territory had recently been released from the now defunct Matachewan-Prussian Commonwealth after its prompt dissolution. Kleinmann fled the Commonwealth and went into hiding and later after making a public apology to all of Matachewan he had claimed the territory.

Kaiser Kleinmann I Abdication

On 25 August 2019, at exactly 15:00 PM MDT Mere six hours before the Nations one month anniversary, the well respected Kaiser Kleinmann I declared his abdication, leaving the crown to Deputy Chancellor Christopher four minutes later right before officially cutting contact for good.

Reign of Christopher the First

Kaiser Christopher I ascended from his position as Deputy Chancellor under Chancellor Peter and took the throne after Kaiser Kleimann I's abdication by simply asking. His reign was based on a foundation of changes, the most noticeable being the enactment of the Localization Decree, replacing the cabinet a couple of times, the founding of the groundwork of the military and the Military Centralization Policy. Christopher has had 3 chancellors under him; Peter, who resigned minutes after Kleinmann's abdication and the beginning of Christopher's reign, Robert, who was hired for his experience, but honorably discharged as a result of the Localization Decree. And Eovnia, who was offered a position as a result of the Localization Decree and currently serves as the Chancellor under the new reign of Kaiser Kleinmann I.

Return of Kaiser Kleinmann

Kleinmann resumed interaction with the Deutsches Colorado Kaiserreich on 18 September 2019. After announcing his wishes of getting involved again, he was confronted with several choices such as a shared crown, in which both Christopher and Kleinmann would have equal political power. Split crown, in which they would switch back and forth on the political power. Or hereditary crown, in which one would become Kaiser and the other, Crown Prince / political regent. Kleinmann wanted the crown back and promptly was given the crown on 20 September 2019 by Kaiser Christopher I because of obvious popular demand and Christopher's promises of giving the crown back the moment Kleimann returned. Former Kaiser Christopher was moved back to his former position as Deputy Chancellor, as replacing the current one would infringe on his own Localization Decree.

The Foreign Policy of the Nation is one of Isolationism, and selective Diplomatic relations with other nations in accordance with a Non-Interference Policy with other nations affairs unless it directly affects the Nation or its interests. This is to primarily avoid any conflict with other Micronations and any possible drama within the Micronational sphere of politics.

Culture

The culture of the Deutsches Colorado Kaiserreich is unique in the sense that it has two primary cultures which coexist within the nation, that being of the Coloradan culture and of the strong German Culture.

Coloradan Culture

The Coloradan culture primarily collided with the nature of the geography of the area, with large mountains towards the west and large, flat, plains to reflect both exploration and farming, especially due to it being at the forefront of the Frontier of the United States in the mid to late 1800’s. Colorado is known to be one of the most physically fit US states, and lumber is a thriving business in the region as well. It is also notable for its large production of home made brews, despite Prohibition outlawing Alcohol in the nation.

German Culture

The German Culture in the region dominates most of government and politics, it being most closely related to that of the Early days of the German Empire and Prussia. It shows this with German being the most spoken language, with English in second.

Mierzwa		27 July 2019 - 25 August 2019	Was the first Chancellor, appointed by the Kaiser himself as he had previous experience within various Micronations and was well respected during his during the formative times of the nation. He had resigned only a month later shortly after Kleinmann's leaving of the nation and is currently serving within the Grand Matachewanian Commonwealth
