The Kingdom of Deweylisia is a microstate located in Colorado. Founded on June 17, 2020. Deweylisia is a parliamentary constitutional monarchy with King August I heading the state.

History

On June 17, 2020, the Republic of Deweylis was founded on the Samsung Notes App, with Kwipsy as its first President. The state would exist in limbo from June 20, 2020 - October 31, 2022.

It was revived as the Kingdom of Deweylisia, and President Kwipsy would be elevated to Emperor August I. On this day, the Imperial Treaty was signed, and Deweylisia entered a Union of equals with the Empire of Soshallia to form the Imperial Union. Deweylisia would become the Empire of Deweylisia under the treaty, however internally it was known as the Kingdom of Deweylisia. Since then, the nation has grown to 18 citizens.

On November 11, 2023, Deweylisia passed a bill making the Imperial Treaty illegitimate and illegal under Deweylisian law. Moments later, the Emperor of Deweylisia, August I released a Press Statement; announcing Deweylisian secession from the Imperial Union, citing it to be defunct and useless under Deweylisian law. The Empire of Deweylisia would be dissolved, and the Kingdom of Deweylisia becomes an independent state.
