Digi Micro Summit is a micronational summit that will take place on the 28th of December 2023 and on the 29th of December 2023, in the Metaverse. The summit will be organized by the Grand Miner President of the Democratic Republic of Satoshi, the Sovereign Princess of the Principality of Sancratosia and Zar Antonov of United Republic of Obscurium. On the 25th of September 2023 it was announced that the United Republic of Obscurium will be co-hosting the next Digi Micro Summit. The Summer 2024 edition has also been confirmed. It was the first virtual summit that aimed to replicate the experience of in-person summits such as MicroCon or PoliNation.
Origins
The Democratic Republic of Satoshi started developing the idea for a virtual micronational summit in May 2022. The solution of hosting the summit in the Metaverse proved to be the one that provided the closest experience to that of other in-person summits.
The Principality of Sancratosia joined the organization of the summit on 25 May 2022.
On 6 July 2022, the summit was officially advertised to the micronational community.[1]
On the 25th of September 2023 it was announced that the United Republic of Obscurium will be co-hosting the next Digi Micro Summit.
