The counties of the Commonwealth of Essexia consist of Districts of Essexia, which are the tertiary level of administrative division within the country. There are 9 districts in the Essexia which are;
Districts exist at a different level of administration due to the fact not all the counties of Essexia are populated. All districts in Essexia are populated. However, not all the districts are claimed in Essexia's total land area; only 4 of these districts are listed as such, the other 5 being unclaimed population centres. The reason for this appears to be the Essexian government's lack of willingness to change the official claimed land area, so as to not cause more logistical and political challenges than they are capable or willing to handle.
