Draft:Federation of Communist Antarctica

The Federation of Communist Antarctica, more commonly known as the FCA or Communist Antarctica, is a micronation in West Antarctica. The FCA was formed on the 11th of May, 2023, by a group of colonizers from California, USA. The group then claimed the land of Western Antarctica as individuals, following the supposed loophole of the 1959 Antartic Treaty, only later to declare the FCA an independent state. They then revoked their claims to make sure they weren't illegal, and appointed themselves as chairmen and women of the state's Communist Party, officially turning the government of the FCA communist. They de facto named themselves "Leaders of the Antarctic Future."

The Communist party of the FCA claims to "try and blur out the bad history of communism and replace it with the history of communist Antarctica." The short, four-paragraph declaration of independence shows that the Communist Party's goal is to "create an equal world through means of the FCA Communist party." It also says "the date of May 11th will be recognized as the beginning of the future and the FCA's independence day."

The FCA unofficially recognizes all professional micronations as countries, however recognizes some de jure, but does not have mutual recognition from another state. The FCA recognizes all UN member states. The Communist party believes micronationalism is a great way to promote international practices, such as protecting Antarctica or becoming aware of climate change.

Etymology

The FCA's name is based on its location and political stance, meaning any other party being in charge will change the name. "Federation" was chosen for the semi-independence of the nation's districts.

History

Insert a decently detailed but not overly long history of the micronation.

Politics and government

Since founding, the FCA has been ruled under communistic beliefs. It is inconclusive on why communism was chosen, but a definitive answer may be the book the chairmen were reading at the time. The Communist party wants to erase the bad past of communism, and "replace it with the future of communist Antarctica."

Chairmen

The FCA has nine chairmen and women as Heads of State. The nine originate from the nation's communist party. Chairmen that are in charge get control over the nation as a whole. When attempting to pass a law, the chairmen meet and discuss this new law, and if the majority rules in favor, it passes. Chairmen also get complete control over the district they govern.

Leaders of other parties

Leaders of other parties get respect from the nation as a whole, but do not get any other privileges in terms of leading the nation. Other leaders, however, gain the ability to present new laws to the Chairmen, as well as make speeches or presentations on joining their respective party.

Political parties

Explain the background or history of the political parties in the state, and any guidelines or regulations regarding them. For the table, you can add or remove as many columns for the number of seats as needed. It is advised that you sample the colors for the table from the party logo.
