At first the Republic of Dostykstan held an isolationist foreign policy due to the internal political turmoil of the Republic of Dostykstan. The Republic of Dostykstan's isolationist foreign policy was eventually switched to an open foreign policy once the Incumbent President, Daniel Gomez, came into power. The Republic of Dostykstan still holds an open foreign policy to this day but they are now less active in foreign affairs than they used to be.

Relations

The Republic of Dostykstan currently holds bilateral relations with 6 nations across the globe, and holds unofficial bilateral relations with the Republic of Molossia. The Republic of Dostykstan is not recognised by any Member states of the United Nations but they do recognise all Member states of the United Nations and more making these relations unilateral. The Republic of Dostykstan currently holds unilateral relations with 207 nations across the globe with some of these nations being recognised by the United Nations and others not.^{[citation needed]}^{[disputed – discuss]}

United Alkaltostinian Soviet Socialist Republic	26 July 2023	Relations between the UASSR (United Alkaltostinian Soviet Socialist Republic) and the Republic of Dostykstan were officiated on the 26th of July after 3 days of talks between the two nations. Talks between the UASSR and the Republic of Dostykstan began after the UASSR reached out to the Republic of Dostykstan requesting the formation of Diplomatic Relations. Due to Anti-Communist Sentiment across the Dostykstani Government, diplomatic relations were immediately shot down. But after much debate and discussion the Dostykstani Government came to a decision to merely form basic diplomatic relations with the UASSR.
Kingdom of Cadoria	15 August 2022	The relationship between the two countries was founded only a couple weeks after the Republic of Dostykstan adopted an open foreign policy, this made the Kingdom of Cadoria one of the first nations to recognise the Republic of Dostykstan.
The Oligarch State of Curnon	05 July 2023	Relations between The Oligarch State of Curnon and the Republic of Dostykstan began on the 5th of July following MicroCon 2023 in Joilet. During the Diplomatic Reception of MicroCon 2023 in Joilet, the Main Leader of The Oligarch State of Curnon, Asa Ward, and the incumbent President of the Republic of Dostykstan, Daniel R. Gomez, met and discussed multiple political topics.
Hokoria	15 March 2022	Relations between the current state of Hokoria and the Republic of Dostykstan began on the 15th of March but ties between the two nations existed with Hokoria's predecessors dating back to the Republic of Aweland.
Empire of Iltuma	14 November 2022	Relations between the two nations began immediately after the formation of the Empire of Iltuma as the Dostykstani Government helped found the nation.
Tsardom of Kaltarsia	19 March 2022	Although relations between the two countries began quite recently on the 19th of March, the ties between the Republic of Dostykstan and the Tsardom of Kaltarsia date back to the predecessors of the Tsardom of Kaltarsia all the way back to the Sprinske Empire. The Republic of Dostykstan has an online embassy within the Tsardom of Kaltarsia's Discord server. There are currently plans between the Governments of the Republic of Dostykstan and the Tsardom of Kaltarsia to create an in person Consulate General in Selatan City, Dostykstan.
Karno-Ruthenian Empire	10 July 2023	Relations between the Karno-Ruthenian Empire and the Republic of Dostykstan began on the 10th of July following the signing of a Treaty of Mutual Recognition after both nation attended MicroCon 2023 in Joilet. During MicroCon 2023, the Incumbent President of the Republic of Dostykstan, Daniel R. Gomez, met with multiple members of the Karno-Ruthenian Empire's government at the Diplomatic Reception and main conference. Among these members of Karno-Ruthenian Empire's government included Imperial Chancellor Dylan Callahan, whom reached out to President Daniel R Gomez to sign a Treaty of Mutual Recognition..
Republic of MVP	5 November 2022	The relations between the two nations were formed almost immediately after the formation of the Republic of MVP as the two nations worked together against Kingdom of Super Shrek which they both disliked.
Republic of West Who	23 July 2023	Relations between the Republic of West Who and the Republic of Dostykstan were officiated on the 23rd of July after 3 days of talks between the two nations from the 20th to the 23rd of July. Prior to relations between the Republic of West Who and the Republic of Dostykstan being officiated, a delegate from both nations met multiple times during MicroCon 2023 in Joilet. These delegates were specifically President Daniel R. Gomez of the Republic of Dostykstan, and Minister of Citizens Affairs, John Farr of the Republic of West Who.
