Eastern Soviet Union, officially the Eastern Union of Soviet Socialist Republics or East USSR, is a territorial micronation located within capitalist America. It is located primarily in northern Ohio, with several territories located in other areas. The Eastern Soviet Union is considered to be the de facto sucsessor to the Russian Soviet Union. President Leonard Kelly was elected President of the Eastern Soviet Union in June 2012. The current capital of the Soviet Government is in Leningrad.

Government

The governmental structure of the Eastern Soviet Union is a union of republics ruled over by President, with the assistance of the General Assembly.

People's General Assembly

The People's General Assembly is the legislative branch of the Eastern Soviet government. They create laws and documents made to improve and adapt the nation every day. The assembly meets commonly and is always deciding on new laws. Within the assembly, a representative from each republic of the union meets with other leaders to discuss the laws and politics of the nation.

President

The President of the Eastern Soviet Union makes sure that laws are relevant, useful, ethical, and just. The President has the power to speak within the assembly, as well as veto or approve a proposed bill. He is also the Commander-in-Chief of the Eastern Soviet Armed Forces.

Administrative Divisions

The republics within the Eastern Soviet Union are all allowed their own representative and regional Governor. The purpose of these republics is to make ruling the nation simpler and allow for the people to have solutions specially tailored for their area.

Military

The Eastern Soviet Armed Forces is the official military unit in the Eastern Soviet Union. It was established soon after the May Revolution for the protection of her citizens. The President of the Eastern Soviet Union is the official Commander-in-Chef, with the Commander of the Guard ranked just below him.

Law Enforcement

Although each republic has the right to establish a form of Law Enforcement, the Soviet Government established the Department of State Security (SS) in November 2012. There sole duty is to protect the people, and to enforce the laws of the Eastern Soviet Government.

National Symbols

All communist and socialist symbols are welcome within the nation. The national flag is a red field with a golden Hammer and Sickle in the upper left corner. The Flag of the President of the Eastern Soviet Union has a white background, with a light blue bar on the bottom and a Red Star and Hammer and Sickle centered in the white field.

Economy

The economy of the Eastern Soviet Union is just getting out of the American caused "Great Resession". It has a fairly average income rate, and its redistribution and equality of income is actually fairly and truly successful. There is also plenty of foreign aid coming from private US citizens who care greatly for the union.

Eastern Soviet Dollar

The Eastern Soviet Dollar is the proposed currency of the Eastern Soviet Union. It is designed to mimic the American dollar in use and design. It is planned to show the likeness of several Eastern Soviet heroes including; Karl Marx, Joseph Stalin, Vladimir Lenin, and [Leonard Kelly|President Leonard Kelly]. It is planned to become the official standard by June 2013.
