The Emirate of Greenfield is a self declared Islamic state located in the American State of Massachusetts. It claims the American town of Greenfield Massachusetts. It was declared on Jumada Al-Awwal 8, 1436, or February 26, 2015 by it's leader Abdu r-Raḥmān, or Eren Lewis.
Government
The Emirate of Greenfield is an Absolute, Theocratic Monarchy, led by the Emir. The Emir has complete control over all political aspects of the state, including military, diplomatic affairs, etc. The Emir may appoint a Prime Minister to run the National Council, which may present bills to the Emir. Should the Emir sign them, they become law. The Religious Head has complete control over all aspects of Religious life in the Emirate. He is expected to follow the laws and traditions of the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad. The Emirate uses Sharia as it's guide and law.
Military
The military of Greenfield is the government agency responsible for protecting the country and its people. The military follows the Islamic rules of warfare, those being to not harm any innocents, to not harm women, nor children, nor the elderly, only kill other combatants. The military has not engaged in any combat.
