The Empire of Oreinizstan, more commonly known as Oreinizstan, is a micronation and is landlocked within Washington County, Kentucky.
The current ruling Kaiser of Oreinizstan is Jacob Shain I, his full title reads as follows:
His Imperial and Royal Majesty Jacob I, By the Grace of God, Oreinizstani Emperor and King of Appalachia, Commander in Chief of Oreinizstan, Grand Admiral of the Reichsflotte, General Field Marshal of the Reichskorps, Burgrave of Jacobstown, Grand Duke of Flachland, of Vohenstrauß, of Zeltingen and Rachtig, Grand Duke of Altenhain, of Königshain and Wiederau, Grand Duke of Schwarzenberg, of Coppengrave.
Etymology
The name Oreinizstan is derived from the Greek word "ορεινός," pronounced oreinos, meaning mountainous.
History
Establishment
The Empire of Oreinizstan was originally theorized on 17 October 2022 before the naming of the country. A day later the name Oreinizstan was formulated. The idea for the country was originally a republic until it was agreed upon to have a constitutional monarchy with Jacob M. Shain serving as Kaiser.
Changes in government
The Empire of Oreinizstan was initially founded as a constitutional monarchy, and had it first prime minister election in late October of 2022. The election decided that Eain Thompson would be the first Oreinizstani prime minister. Following the election of Prime Minister Thompson there was a considerable growth in civil unrest. In response his majesty Kaiser Jacob I made the executive decision, on 4 November 2022, to depose Thomson and converted the government into an absolute monarchy.
For a brief period in May and June of 2023 a Constitutional Monarchy was again attempted. A body of legislators holding known as the Vasilista was elected, and a constitution was being drafted. Soon after its formation, it was proven to be dysfunctional, and was seen to show signs of major corruption. After seeing this Kaiser Jacob I dissolved the Vasilista and scrapped the in progress constitution, returning the country to an absolute monarchy.
Politics and government
Oreinizstan is an absolute monarchy with Kaiser Jacob I holding all legislative, judicial, and executive powers. There are two crown princes in Oreinizstan, who hold secondary ruling positions:
- Prince Dakota (Full Title: His Royal Highness, Dakota I, Imperial Prince of Oreinizstan, Vice Admiral of the Reichsflotte, Count of Shain, Duke of Flachland, Count of Altenhain, of Schwarzenberg, of Coppengrave.), secondary ruler of the states of Flachland, Altenhain, Schwarzenberg, and Coppengrave.
- Prince Matthew (Full Title: His Royal Highness, Matthew I, Imperial Prince of Oreinizstan, Lieutenant General of the Reichskorps, Count of Shain, Prince of Appalachia, Count of Königshain and Wiederau, of Zeltingen and Rachtig, of Vohenstrauß.), secondary ruler of Appalachia, Königshain-Wiederau, Zeltingen-Rachtig, and Vohenstrauß.
Under the Kaiser there is a group of royal advisors to aid the Kaiser in his duties, and as such they are in indirect positions of power in all three facets.
Law and order
Kaiser Jacob I serves as the supreme judge for all crimes committed by the Oreinizstani people. The laws in Oreinizstan share many similarities with that of the United States with similar punishments. Though Oreinizstan has banishment as a punishment for certain crimes. The punishments for crimes vary as they are decided by the king based on severity and frequency of crime on an individual basis.

Oreinizstan is open to diplomatic actions from other micronations.

The Empire of Oreinizstan military is comprised of an army, the Reichskorps, and a navy, the Reichsflotte.
Geography and climate
The country of Oreinizstan experiences all four distinct seasons, with warm summers and moderately cold winters. Despite the trends the weather day to day varies widely. The seasonal average temperatures range from 25 to 86 degrees ferinheight. The average annual precipitation in the area is roughly 48 in, and the average snowfall is 11 in.
Oreinizstan is located in the bluegrass region of Kentucky. Positioned on a plot of 27 acres. The surrounding regions are rich in coal deposits, but Oreinizstan currently has no way of prospecting such resources. Oreinizstan is comprised considerably of wooded area with a number of hills and valleys.

Economy
The value of a Stone (₰) is a living value. The Stone is based on a Uranium standard with 100 Stone worth 1 ounce of Uranium ($0.8900 per 1 Stone). The Uranium standard is based upon the previously set Gold Standard in the Untied States.
The economy in Oreinizstan is heavily dependent on imports from the United States. Oreinizstan's main export is game fowl, with a secondary export of hay bales. The GDP is estimated to be somewhere around 1226₰.
