The Empire of Ostreum, formerly the Empire of Tentacion, is a dominion of Baustralia. It was founded after an agreement between the Dictator of Tentacion and King of Baustralia – Felkin Parker, and John – to form an empire with him being a devolved dictator within a monarchy.

Currently, it has a colonial type government, much like the British Raj used to have. It is ruled by John as Emperor, and the Viscount Parker as Viceroy and Lord Governor.

Etymology

The current name, Ostreum, is the alternate of the Latin word ostrea, or in English, oyster. The former name, Tentacion, is the stage name of the deceased rapper XXXTentacion, which is derived from the Spanish word tentación, or in English, temptation.

History

The empire has had multiple shifts in government, starting as a province of Baustralia, known as Cold Creek, through a dictatorship, and now a colony of Baustralia.

2 July 2018, the province of Cold Creek split from Baustralia without consent from John. The then-absolute monarchy didn't recognize this as a self governing nation, but more as a rebellious government. As the capital happened to be in this area, they moved it to avoid any complications in the future. The monarchy decided to recognize the nation and then reformed it's own government at the new capital. When this new government was made, the Crown and the newly appointed prime minister decided to try and regain the territory.

The battle of Tentacion Creek was responsible for the agreement which caused Tentacion to become a colony of Baustralia. This compromise was very unusual as it had an unusual form of government, Devolved totalitarianism within a constitutional monarchy.

Baustralian Ostreum and the princely states

Ostreum is made up of two types of territory: Baustralian Ostreum, and the princely states. The monarch is represented by a viceroy, while Baustralian Ostreum is controlled by the viceroy, and the princely states are controlled by their prince or what name they shall have.
