The Empire of Takaeya, sometimes referred to as the Takaeyan Empire or as Takaeya, is a self-proclaimed sovereign state commonly known as a micronation located in Europe. The Empire declared its foundation and independence on 14 September 2022.
The nation is presided over by the monarchy, which is absolute in power, and the Government of Takaeya. The capital city of the empire is Fario. The nation has a democratic parliament, consisting of a House of Commons and House of Lords, but the Prime Minister, and other ministers are appointed by the monarch. The current monarch, Emperor Luke I, is the nation's founder.
Takaeya was established on 14 September 2022 by Emperor Luke I, the nation's father and first monarch.
Government and Politics
The monarchy of the empire is an absolute monarchy. The monarch has some duties they must carried out but they may do as they please due to their power. However the Imperial Family only normally acts in the empire's best interests.
Parliament isn't always called to session but is none the less an important body in the governance of the nation. Members of Government and cabinet ate usually members of one of the houses of parliament.
Parliament consists of the House of Commons and House of Lords. To pass laws they typically must attain the ascent of both houses as well as the ascent of the monarch.

Cuisine plays an important role in Takaeyen culture and society. The national dish is Francesinha originating from Portugal. On national holidays, feasts may be held with the Imperial Family leading the tradition.
Public holidays in the empire include Independence Day (14 September), Luke I Day (19 July) and some religious holidays such as Christmas.
The primary national symbol is the Flag which represents national values. The blue represents loyalty, the red represents the imperial family, the yellow represents the government and the rose represents prosperity and peace.
