The Federal Republic of Early, (Spanish: República Federal de Early) also known by its acronym F.R.E, or simply Early, is a micronation established in Texas. Established on July 18, 2022. Early was created as an escape from the current political situation in the United States, at a time of increasing political divide. Early, as a neutral nation, promotes peace, being highly against micronational warfare. Early remained in a state of dormancy, but signs it is rumbling back to life.
Etymology
The Federal Republic of Early takes its name from the town it's capital is located in, Early, which in turn was named for Walter U. Early, an attorney who donated land for the schools.[1]
History

The area of what would be Early now, was once settled by the Comanche Tribe. Not long after the arrival of Columbus, the area of what would then be Early was part of Spain, Then in 1821, Mexico became independent and took control of Texas, but then in 1836, Texas declared independence then 9 years later, joined the U.S. What was still supposed to be Early, in 1861, Texas, along other 10 southern states declared independence from the US, but 4 years later rejoined the US. Then sometime before 1960, the City of Early came into existance.
Contemporary History
Though Early wasn’t really established until 2022, the Federal Republic was originally drafted up as a principality, similar to Monaco. Then in the earlier half of 2022, a “protostate” was established. Closer to July, the idea of a Federal Republic was established, before finally declaring independence on 18 July 2022 After declaring independence, it had announced it had allied with the Kingdom of Salanda.[2]
Second Micronational War on Terror

3 days after Sprinske Empire declared the Second Micronational War on Terror, the Federal Republic announced that they would support them,[3] though they never got involved themselves, standing for their peaceful ideals.
After the SMWT
After the end of the Second Micronational War on Terror, Early dipped into a period of inactivity, but did establish relations. As of now, Early is trying to get back on track.

Politics and government
Early falls into a federal republic, though there are not enough civilians present for an actual election, so for now is a one person nation.

Coalitions are the main form of political expressions. The 2nd revision of the constitution states that political parties would cause further divide. [b] Due to currently having no citizens, these political systems haven’t been implemented.

Federal Warning System
The Federal Warning System (originally called the Early Warning System) is designed to inform if there is danger. The FWS falls into 8 categories, labeled by Roman Numerals.

A police force is usually not needed as the Federal Republic is completely peaceful.

Formerly a stranger to micronations, as of August 30, 2022 Early has made 2 allies and 1 recognized state.
Rules in order to be recognized by Early
Since it has had 3 micronations recognized within the first 2 months of independence, the Federal Republic has set up guidelines for recognition:
- The Nation cannot intentionally declare war on other micronations.
- If a micronation seriously declares on a UN member, all hopes of diplomacy will be cut short.
- Early cannot and will not recognize countries that hold terroristic ties.
- Micronations that operate in a Nazi (or fascist in general) frame work will not be recognized under any circumstances.
- Before the second revision of the Constitution, socialist nations that attempted to create socialist parties would have ties cut almost immediately. The rule later dropped cutting ties, but kept that any socialist parties that made it through would still be dissolved regardless.

Military
Though the Federal Republic has no functioning army, the National Guard is only laid out in groundwork.
Geography and climate
The Federal Republic of Early’s mainland lies mostly in between 2 hills, with a valley going down the middle, holds the only stream Early lies on: Pecan Bayou. McCartney Island territories, though lies on Lake Brownwood. Topography wise, the F.R.E typically always lies above 1.2-1.3k ft (365-396m) above sea level.

The Pecan Bayou is a slow-moving stream that runs right through the middle of the Federal Republic, which straddles 5 ceremonial states: May, Brownwood, Early, Zephyr, and Brookesmith. The Pecan Bayou was named for the pecans Native Americans had collected, such as the Tonkawa and Comanche peoples, along with red cactus fruit, wild plums, and acorns. The region had several explorations prior to the American Civil War, in the years 1849, 1851, and 1855-56.
Economy
The Federal Republic has no current running economy.
Culture and media
The Federal Republic’s one and only education system is the Early Independent School District, while the country has 2 official languages, English and Spanish. Chinese and Vietnamese were official languages at one time, but a recent constitution reduced it to 2.
