The Federal Union of Socialist Republics, commonly known as the FUSR or Federal Union, is a Marxist-Leninist micronation founded on 22 June 2012 and is located near Buffalo, New York. The Federal Union of Socialist Republics is 15 square miles (24 km²), making it the 15th largest micronation, and the second largest active Microwiki-sector micronation. The Federal Union of Socialist Republics is heavily influenced by the USSR, Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Socialist Albania.

History

The Federal Union of Socialist Republics was founded on 22 June 2012 after the dissolution of the Socialist People's Republic of Danesland. After the dissolution of Danesland at 1800 Eastern Standard Time, Firrenze, Danesland and Boljenovia merged to form the Federal Union of Socialist Republics.

Government and politics

There are two main branches of Government in the Federal Union: the Communist Party of the Federal Union and and the Revolutionary Councils.

Communist Party

The Communist Party of the Federal Union is the only legal political party in the Federal Union of Socialist Republics, recognized vanguard party and supreme political organ in the state. The Communist Party of the Federal Union serves as the real governing body and force in the nation, it makes nearly all decisions not made by the Revolutionary Councils and regulates all political life. Currently, the Communist Party of the Federal Union only has 29 members, which is 39% of the population.

Revolutionary Councils

The Revolutionary Councils of the Federal Union act as local governments. They regulate all economic and political life in their respective areas, with guidance from the Communist Party of the Federal Union. Each Revolutionary Council has three elected members, which serve a term a two months. There are currently five Revolutionary Councils in the Federal Union of Socialist Republics.

Foreign relations

The Federal Union of Socialist Republics foreign policy is generally tolerant, in contrast to the general strict policies of the Communist Party of the Federal Union. The Federal Union currently has a Socialist-oriented foreign affairs, and as such places its relations with Socialist nations on a higher standard than Capitalist nations.
