The Law of Fieldwark or more commonly referred to as Fieldwark is the capital Law of the Kingdom of Nortenland. Fieldwark began to exist and serve as the capital and residence of the King of Nortenland on 24 September 2021 coinciding with the foundation of the Kingdom of Nortenland. It remained unofficial until 24 March 2022 when the King of Nortenland signed a bidding to officialize the Kingdom of Nortenland as a Law and as the Capital.[1]
Etymology
The name Fieldwark is a portmanteau of the word 'bulwark' and the word 'field'. The name derives from Fieldwark being established as a field home to bulwark the Nortennish beliefs. Other names that were considered during the foundation of Fieldwark as the capital of Nortenland were "Kingsburg", "Nortenhome", and "Fellowhome", but all eventually fell to the geographical based name.
