Description	English: The coat of arms shows the individual municipal coats of arms of the island compartment (the original compartment), namely the coats of arms of the towns listed from left to right: Aalbæk (capital, far left) Hønesund (2nd largest island town, on the left) Vidējais (town and largest island municipality, middle) Ziemeļaustrumi (city in the northeast, right) Ziemeļrietumu (City in the northwest, far right) Above the city arms is the ducal crown in classic Kårlsberg blue and the duke's blue diamonds. Slightly below the crown are two swords, symbolising the fighting power. At the bottom of the shield is the tower of the First Castle (destroyed in 1791) with classical floral elements behind it. In the background is a cross with blue and orange colours.
