The Florenian general election of 2012 was an election meant to take place between December 22 and December 31, 2012. However, to due scheduling and organizational failures as well as lack of care, the elections for Prime Minister and Parliament did not occur. No attempt to reschedule the election was made, and the then current elected officials served a double term. There was no outcry from the Florenian electorate as a whole, and the only major criticism came from Prince Nathan of Florenia, the incumbent Prime Minister, who claimed responsibility for the mishap and stated that it was a bad mark on Florenian democracy.

The next election took place after the passage of the Elections Act 2013, which outlined in detain elections in Florenia.
